Obstetrics and Gynecology
Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians specialize in the management of
pregnancies (obstetrics) and female reproductive medicine (gynecology).
The Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians partner with a nurse practitioner
who works in collaborative practice with physicians to provide routine medical
care to patients. The nurse practitioner is qualified to manage routine care of
OB patients, conduct routine physicals and provide patient education. If you
prefer, you can see the nurse practitioner for many of your health care needs.
Special Note to OB Patients:
Dr. LeVeck will end the obstetric portion of her
practice effective March 31, 2006. Dr. LeVeck will begin curtailing her
obstetric practice immediately with complete closure expected by March 31, 2006
– after which she will accept no new obstetric patients or deliveries. Dr.
LeVeck will continue with her gynecology practice.
